Steps to opening a franchise

Just like any business opportunity, it is the potential franchisee's responsibility and obligation to investigate the business. Consult with an accountant and obtain an attourney for their professional assistance in analyzing all the potential benefits and potential risks of a new business venture.

1. Read all the information available on the franchise. At this early stage, we are unable to disclose very much information but you do have the opportunity to visit our stores along with analyzing all of the available publicized information.
2. Complete and return the Franchise Application enclosed with the material. We need to find out as much as we can about you as we are attempting to build a team of qualified franchisees. Please enclose any relevant information such as your complete personal or corporate financial statements. Please list any past business / retail experience that you may have had that would help you in this franchise. If partners are involved, please also have them fill an application out.
3. Once we have received your Franchise Application, a representative from CLS HOLDINGS, Inc. will contact you with any questions that we may have along with any initial questions you have.
4. After receiving your Franchise Application and completing our own checks to determine that you are a qualified candidate that we would like as a franchisee we will contact you to set up a face to face meeting. During this meeting we will both have the opportunity to learn a little more about each other and the future of our franchise. We will discuss details of our franchise agreement.
5. If both parties still remain interested, we will give you a copy of our Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC). We will then discuss details of the UFOC along with declaring the territory that you are intending on franchising. The UFOC will give you more information about the company to help you make an informed decision. This information should be carefully reviewed preferably with your attorney.
6. After reviewing the UFOC, if you decide to move forward with a Custard's Last Stand franchise you will then return the signed UFOC along with your franchise fee made payable to CLS HOLDINGS, Inc.. From this date we can then begin the planning stages of your Custard's Last Stand franchise.
